The support required will be on-going; you will be working with customers to improve their quality of life, their ability to sustain their tenancies and the achievement of independent living. To be successful in application for our Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker role, you will ideally have worked in a similar role supporting individuals with enduring mental health needs, although we’re open to candidates wanting to start in their Care careers or interested in pursuing a new career within a Mental Health / Social Work environment. Having some knowledge and understanding of Mental Health and the issues around it would be beneficial. You’ll be comfortable in challenging negative beliefs and provide positive behaviour support, and always demonstrate a supportive and caring nature. It’s crucial to display good communication and listening skills, with a strong ability to provide advice to help our customers. Please note, it is an essential requirement to hold a full driver’s licence as you will have access to a fleet of pool cars in order for you to carry out your role.
Our Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker position is a community-based position across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. We are seeking applicants to help cover shifts over the weekend to support our customers.

This role is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references (one from your current employer).
